Rooftop Bar 2009

"Another curious painting by Bob Dylan.The dude in the blue pants and white shirt, seems about ready to dis-mount his cocktail stool and move in the direction of the delicious looking woman, longingly gazing off the balcony into the distance. Mr. blue pants had better hurry, because the under-cover, cop-like guy, entering from the lower right hand corner, seems about ready to approach the table and the old style telephone gives the whole scene, a sense of emergency. The guy dressed like a jogger, appears to be somewhat stranded in the middle of the surrounding action. Perhaps the artist sketched this piece while waiting around for a sound check at the "CAPITAL THEATRE", listed on the marquee just beyond the balcony. Nice composition, loaded with intrigue. I will keep my eye out for more work by this artist."
